In this video, we will have a look at using slew rate while working with capacitors. Slew rate; voltage changing rate per unit time (dv/dt, Volt/microsecond). Slew rate should be taken into consideration for performance of electronics parts. For example; if an Op-Amp has not enough slew rate capability, its output performance will be effected in high frequency applications.
Note: We can also use this formula; Slew rate=2πfV for Op-Amps. For example, peak input voltage is 6V, frequency is 15kHz and we want to amplify this signal. Minimum slew rate of Op-Amp that we need is;
>>Min. slew rate = 2 π f V = 2 π x 15000 x 6 = 0.565 V/us.
